TJ Eaves serves as Associate General Counsel for Forge Consulting LLC and its affiliates. His various responsibilities include providing general legal counsel to The Forge Companies. Some practice areas involve corporate governance, labor and employment, cybersecurity, trademark and intellectual property, and transactional matters.

TJ earned his bachelor’s degree in business administration and law at Western Carolina University before obtaining his Juris Doctorate from the University of North Carolina School of Law. As a student, TJ was elected Student Body President at Western Carolina University and Vice President of the National Trial Team at North Carolina School of Law. 

Prior to joining The Forge Companies in 2023, TJ served as General Counsel to Superior Cranes Inc., a large regional construction company. He also served on their Executive Leadership Team at Superior Cranes Inc. TJ has experience as a prosecutor with the Wake County District Attorney’s Office in Raleigh, NC. He tried numerous cases, including special victim cases, financial crime cases, political corruption cases, and first-degree murder cases. He also served as Assistant General Counsel for his alma mater, Western Carolina University, specializing in policy development, crisis management, student affairs, and college athletics. 

TJ has been a member of the North Carolina State Bar since 2015. He has served on Western Carolina University’s Board of Trustees, Alumni Board of Directors, and the College of Business Advisory Board. In his free time, you will likely find TJ on a golf course or spending time with his wife, Natasha, and two children, Brayden and Lyla. He also enjoys sports, fitness, and movies.
