
Tim Denehy is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ who has over thirty years of experience in the trust and financial services industry. Tim serves as the Chief Planning Officer for The Forge Companies (TFC). He works directly with injured plaintiffs and their families to develop comprehensive settlement plans designed to manage and protect a lawsuit recovery. He also plays a key leadership role with the Advocacy Wealth Management (AWM) team, guiding the Financial Advisors with a thoughtful, strategic approach and a clear vision for AWM’s future. Before his current position, Tim served as President of AWM, the SEC-registered investment advisory firm branch of TFC.
Prior to joining TFC, Tim served in various positions at large banks and mid-size trust companies, including as a trust consultant, trust officer, and estate settlement officer.
Tim completed the National Graduate Trust School program at Northwestern University in 1998, received his Certified Structured Settlement Consultant (CSSC) designation in 2003, and received his CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ designation in 2013.
Tim is a graduate of the College of the Holy Cross in Worcester, Massachusetts, where he received a degree in political science and participated in the Navy ROTC program. He subsequently served as a Surface Warfare Officer in the United States Navy.
