Spooner is the founder of The Forge Companies and CEO of Forge Consulting. The Forge Companies span four core business lines—Forge Consulting, Advocacy Wealth Management, Advocacy Trust, and Forge Capital—delivering customized structured settlement annuity planning and insurance solutions; wealth management and long-term financial planning for injured families; Special Needs Trust planning and administration; and law-firm-focused financial services, including streamlined E&O underwriting, IOLTA organization and audit support, payroll administration, case cost accounting, plaintiff advance solutions, and enhanced financial reporting. The combined abilities and knowledge of this 150-plus-person team provide attorneys and their clients with comprehensive financial planning services and products.

Spooner graduated with honors from Rutgers University in 1994 and earned his Certified Structured Settlement Consultant (CSSC) designation, administered by the National Structured Settlement Trade Association in cooperation with the University of Notre Dame Executive Education Department. He regularly speaks at continuing legal education seminars and in programs related to settlement disbursement issues. Spooner and his wife, Denise, have four sons and live in Panama City Beach, Florida.
