Melissa joined Forge Consulting in September 2012 as a Case Administrator, where she was responsible for assisting the Case Management team in finalizing settlement plans for existing clients, policy issuance, and assisting with post-policy administrative needs.

The experience she gained in that role led her to become a Client Services Officer on the Implementation team, assisting the Case Design team in the settlement process by ensuring the plans were implemented promptly and efficiently. She is now a part of the Structures team, working with existing clients and assisting with their administrative needs, i.e., address changes, direct deposit setup, beneficiary changes, tracking down payments, withdrawals, and more. Melissa understands the settlement process from the beginning through policy issuance and beyond. She enjoys working one-on-one with her clients to identify their specific needs.

Before joining Forge Consulting, Melissa had over 20 years of banking and finance experience, primarily focusing on private banking, mortgage lending, and processing. She worked with a local real estate office and mortgage broker for seven years, where she assisted with coordinating the sale and rental of properties and homes. She led the mortgage team in assisting homebuyers in securing financing on their homes and properties.

Melissa is a native of Georgia and has resided in Hartwell for much of her life. She is married and has three children and five grandchildren. She enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, cooking, and watching Georgia Bulldogs football.
