Victor Wilkerson is a graduate of The University of Georgia and has professional designations including Certified Financial Planner® and Chartered Mutual Fund Counselor from the College of Financial Planning, as well as The Chartered Life Underwriter and Chartered Financial Consultant from the American College. He is a Registered Representative/Advisor licensed as a Series 7, 24, 51,52,63 and 65.

Over the last 18 years in the financial services industry, Victor gained experience in multiple positions and disciplines ranging from staff accountant for a Credit Union to institutional retirement planning at Benmark Financial Services. While at Benmark Financial Services, Victor led the a team of consultants building a $250 million retirement planning group with clients such as Fulton County Georgia, and the Association of County Commissioners of Georgia.

Victor left the institutional side of the business to build the wealth management office of First Tennessee Bank in Atlanta, finding his passion: individual needs based planning. Reliance Financial, a multi-billion dollar Atlanta-based firm, recruited him from First Tennessee. This experience positioned Victor and his team to partner with Forge Consulting to build Advocacy Wealth Management, a client-focused Registered Investment Advisory Firm providing financial guidance and predictable wealth management strategies to the settlement recipient.

Victor currently serves as one of Advocacy's managing partners. His skills in institutional investment management, comprehensive financial planning, and understanding clients needs has helped the Advocacy team build a firm with more than a $100 million in assets that will qualify it to retain its registration as a Security and Exchange Commission RIA in compliance with the new Dodd-Frank regulations.

Victor is actively engaged in the settlement industry, recently joining the Society of Settlement Planners and starting work on the Registered Settlement Planner designation.

Victor currently resides in North Georgia with his wife Nikole, a Cobb County School Teacher of 18 years, and their two children, Aidan and Grace. Victor is a former president and board member of the Rocky Mountain Elementary Board of Education.
